报告人简介：
Ying-Yeung Yeung (杨英洋) received his degrees in Hong Kong - B.Sc. (2001) and Ph.D. (2005) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (with Prof. Tony K. M. Shing). In 2005, he joined the group of Prof. Elias J. Corey at Harvard University as a Postdoc. In 2008, he began his independent career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at National University of Singapore, and he was promoted as Associate Professor and Assistant Head in 2014. Since 2015, he then joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong as an Associate Professor. His research group mainly focuses on novel methodologies development and complex molecules synthesis, and the research directions include asymmetric halogenation reactions, multi-component synthesis, and novel functional molecules synthesis for biological studies.
