Dr. Aleksandar Ivanov obtained his BSc of physics at Jacobs University in 2005 and MSc of Molecular Biology at the same university in 2007. In 2011, he obtained the PhD of physical chemistry at Imperial College London. He worked as Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London and as Assistant Professor at Imperial College London and worked as academic staff member at London Centre for Nanotechnology since 2011. His research interests focus on analytical chemistry, label-free detection of key proteins linked to neurodegeneration, single molecule delivery in cells, ionic and tunnelling scanning probes, nanoelectronics and electrochemistry. Dr. Aleksandar Ivanov has published more than 10 papers in Nature Communications, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, and Chemical Science.
